At this point, I have activated the park twice and found it to be an easy activation. Once I arrived and paid my entrance fee (note: the entrance fee is good for 1 week, which I took advantage of), I found a nice spot near the pond and operated my mobile setup.
An interesting feature of the park is that the scenic loop road is divided into a path for both cars and bikers/walkers. When I was visiting there was zero traffic and made for nice walk thru the park. The park also has some nice primitive camping sites that would be fun to explore as well.
